Quality and technological know-how
We operate in the Agrate Brianza production site where the lamination and cutting lines are installed.
The production processes carried out are dedicated to the lamination of plastic and metal films as well as to the improvement-modification of their intrinsic characteristics through different types of treatments.
The production lines are designed to laminate multilayer products (up to 5 layers) using solvent-based and water-based adhesives subsequently cut into rolls to the size requested by the customer.
The production lines, equipped with the most modern technologies, are managed by highly qualified personnel supported by cutting-edge research and development laboratories both in terms of machinery and professional skills.
MISSION
Our production technologies
Lamination
It is a process by which two or more flexible materials are "coupled" using a particular adhesive resin. The single body thus obtained offers physical, mechanical, chemical and electrical characteristics which represent the result of the combination of the characteristics of each layer.
Surface treatments
This production process allows resins, lacquers or paints with different functions to be deposited on the surface of simple or composite materials. Among the different and most common applications:
- Anti-scratch and/or anti-UV lacquering
- Chemical priming
- Coating of heat-sealing resins with different melting points
Cutting - Spooling
POLIFIBRA is equipped with sophisticated cutting and spooling systems. The materials are unwound from the original reels and cut to the size requested by the customer and through the spooling process rewound into crossed coils on a cylindrical spindle.
